I wrote the book, so I have a deep emotional connection to it. I hope everyone falls into the world of make believe and lets their hair down because this is going to be a fantastic ride.
This book was incredible, its as if I were watching a movie. The depictions of the scenery are the most vivid I have read in a long time. the characters are immaculately portrayed, and there are some amazing cliff hangers leading to the next chapters throughout the entire book. I guarantee it will keep you hooked and sleep deprived until the bitter end. If you enjoy fantastical authors such as J.R.R. Tolkien, R.A Salvatore, J.K. Rowling, Tanith Lee, or Piers Anthony; or if you just really enjoy a good read then this book should be in the top of your list of must reads. Way to go Roger Eaker! I loved it, and can't wait for book two.
If words were ice cream, imagine the perfect banana split . . . this is it !!! As I read the book, my mind raced with questions, situations, and anticipations concerning all of the so very well described characters. The words were so enticing to my imagination that I could hardly lay it down. The author is a fantastic artist for he paints the pictures clearly in your mind. I was not disappointed with anything about it . . . . except that it ended !!!! Awaiting Book # 2 now.
